Sheikh Al-Khanjar Poses Four Basic Demands for Stability in Iraq
The head of Al-Seyada Party, Sheikh Al-Khanjar, announced a set of key and legitimate demands that cannot be waived, including the release of innocent detainees, the operationalization of the amnesty law, the return of displaced persons, and the definitive withdrawal of military forces from cities.
The head of Al-Seyada Party stressed that these demands are of great importance in achieving stability and national unity in Iraq, and that the release of innocent detainees is essential for their reintegration into society and the promotion of social peace.
Al-Khanjar added that it was important to activate the amnesty law as a step towards rectifying the situation and offering detainees an opportunity to build their future. He stressed the importance of returning displaced persons to their areas and providing them with an environment conducive to starting a new life.
With regard to the withdrawal of military forces from cities, the dagger explained that such action was necessary to maintain security and stability in Iraq, and that the Government must take firm steps to achieve that goal and ensure that there were no military forces inside cities unless necessary.
