Sheikh Khamis Farhan Ali Al-Khanjar is from the Arab Albu Issa tribe of the Tayy, whose territories extend widely across northern and western Iraq. Sheikh Al-Khanjar was raised in a large family well-known for trade and business in the city of Fallujah, western Iraq. For many decades, his family has been renowned as one of the households whose guesthouse has never closed, welcoming everyone from within Iraq and beyond.
