The President of Al-Seyada Alliance, Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar, visited the host of Sheikh Raad Sami Al-Asi Al-Obaidi in Kirkuk Governorate and was received by a large gathering of notables of the Al-Obaid tribe and dignitaries of the governorate.

Sheikh Al-Khanjar, in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of Al-Seyada, Sheikh Abdul Khaliq Al-Azzawi, and the leader of the party, Mr. Khaled Al-Mufarji, and a group of Sheikhs, dignitaries, and youth of Kirkuk, discussed with the attendees the conditions of the governorate, the conditions of its residents and the general local political issue, especially about the management of the governorate and its security and service situation.

For his part, Sheikh Raad Al-Asi Al-Obaidi appreciated Sheikh Al-Khanjar's role in bringing together the viewpoints of the political and social components in Kirkuk and his principled commitment towards the Arab component in obtaining its entitlement to political and governmental representation, in addition to achieving balance in the official local and federal institutions alike.
