The president of Al-Seyada Party, Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar, performed Friday prayers at Al-Salam Mosque in the Doura area in the capital, Baghdad.

The Friday preacher stressed the importance of Iraqi unity and rejected everything that disturbed the peaceful coexistence between the various sects and nationalities of the Iraqi people, indicating that the Islamic religion is the religion of security, safety, and mercy, not murder and terrorism. The preacher touched on the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people and our people in the Gaza Strip.

The imam and preacher of the mosque also welcomed the visit of Sheikh Al-Khanjar, praising his role in gathering the leaders of the Sunni component for the sake of the unity of ranks and speech and defending the rights of Iraqis, especially in human rights files related to the general amnesty and the return of the displaced to their liberated cities and villages.
