The president of Al-Seyada party, Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar, recalled the stances of the Kurdistan Region, led by President Masoud Barzani, in 2014 in receiving millions of displaced Sunni Arabs, praising the brotherly and humanitarian treatment of the Kurdish people.

The president of Al-Seyada Party said: “We recall the receive of the brothers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2014 for millions of Sunni Arabs who were displaced due to terrorism and military operations, that reception that came with a humanitarian and historic decision from our brother Masoud Barzani” stressing that moral values ​​and honorable stances must be a basic starting point in our national dealings, far from political calculations and partisan interests.

Sheikh Al-Khanjar concluded by calling for strengthening national and humanitarian solidarity among all components of the Iraqi people, pointing out that national unity and humanitarian values ​​are the basis for building a stable and strong Iraq, far from any divisions or narrow partisan interests.
